SSA Holiday Closure Schedule

All Social Security Administration field offices close on federal holidays. This includes all 1,163 SSA field offices nationwide — no exceptions for location or office size.

When a federal holiday falls on a Saturday, SSA offices typically close the preceding Friday. When it falls on a Sunday, offices close the following Monday. The dates below reflect the observed closure date, not the calendar date of the holiday in those cases.
